Cryosolar® is a cold and electricity production solution based on renewable energy. This standalone solar cold room meets the challenges of preserving sensitive and perishable products. With its innovative cold storage solution (“cold battery”, a green technology patented by VALOREM), Cryosolar® guarantees reliable, continuous cold 24/7, even when there’s no sun.
Standalone solar cold room
How does it work ?
During the day
Electricity is produced from photovoltaic solar energy to generate cold in the cold room and recharge a cold battery.
At night
With the sun down, the “cold battery” discharges to supply continuous cold in the cold room.

On-site storage of fresh produce
” I’m a mango producer in the Casamance area. We produce a lot of fruit here in a mango season of around 6 months. During this period there is an overproduction in terms of internal demand. I’ve no way of preserving the fruit, so every year around 50 to 60% of my production rots on the tree or is sold off at a very low price”.
Macky M, farmer (West Africa)
With the Cryosolar® solution, fresh produce (fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, etc.) are preserved at a reliable temperature. So waste is avoided making it possible to sell your produce at the best time and over several days.
-
Electricity and cold guaranteed, even in remote areas
“In the camps at the moment, for cold rooms to work we rely on the supply of diesel which involves complex, secure and very expensive logistics. But these cold rooms are essential to camp operations : food, preservation, medical care, etc.”.
Céline D, healthcare manager (N. Africa)
The Cryosolar® solution means that reliable, standalone cold can be generated to provide for camp needs, even in remote areas. To provide a combination of sustainability, economy and, above all, safety.
-
Truly flexible deployment
“I manage the logistics for a network of mini-marts, so the cold chain is a constant challenge for my supplies. If we develop a new area, it’s very hard to get up and running quickly because the administrative processes and the actual construction of refrigeration units in a remote area are difficult”.
Kévin K, logistics manager (West Africa)
Flexibly deployment in just a few days (Plug & Play), Cryosolar® can offer you new possibilities in reliable, standalone storage. An ideal solution that simplifies all of your daily operations that can be up and running in next to no time.
